What is myofascial release?

Myofascial release is a form of massage therapy that focuses on applying sustained pressure to fascia that surrounds your bones and muscles.

What is fascia?

Fascia is connective tissue that holds muscle, bone, and more in place in your body.

What does a sound therapy session look like?

Sound therapy is meant to help you relax. This therapy is also known as vibrational sound massage. During a sound therapy appointment, therapeutic metal Himalayan Singing Bowls are placed directly on the body. Using correct techniques, a practitioner engages with their client both physically and aurally. The client remains fully clothed and is never touched directly by the practitioner. Because the Singing Bowls and other instruments are doing most of the physical work, contact is kept to minimum. Sound Therapy is much less physically intrusive than traditional hands-on massage, and won’t leave the client feeling sore.

What are the benefits of sound therapy?

Sound therapy can help to ease stress, anxiety, depression, sleep disorders and even high blood pressure. The main point of this service is to help you relax.

What is naturopathy/natural health?

Naturopathy is a form of alternative medicine that focuses on treating or preventing disease/illness without the use of drugs. Natural techniques such as diet, exercise and massage are instead used to treat disease. Naturopathic doctors learn the same basic sciences as medical doctors, and usually attend graduate-level school.
